a bit about me

I haven't really spoken much about myself on here. I like being anonymous in that you don't know my name, yet still be able to share things about my life and things that inspire me.

Therefore I have decided to write a bit about me.

Here goes:

♥ I will be turning 24 in December. I am a Sagittarius.

♥ My personality type (according to this website www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/types2.asp) is ENFJ. Its really quite amazing how accurate this test can be. I have done it on several occasions, through different websites and I always get the same result. Once you have your personality type, its interesting to Google it and read the description of that particular type. 

♥ I have been with my boyfriend for over 6 years. 

♥ I have studied Event Management, however I am yet to get a job in the industry due to "lack of experience". I'm not giving up though!

♥ I worked in a GP Clinic as a Medical Receptionist for 4 years and loved it, but my passion is in Events. 

♥ I love kids of all ages and I can't wait to have my own someday.

♥ I have an addiction to buying magazines. My room, car, bag is full of them. I generally always have at least 2 in my car, 1 in my handbag and the amount in my room - lets not go there!

♥ My all time favourite TV Show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But The Vampire Diaries comes in a close second. Then third is One Tree Hill. I could go on forever as I do enjoy a good TV series. 

♥ I have an obsession with stationary and crafty things. I buy notebooks that I never write in and craft supplies (eg. glitter, stickers etc) that I am yet to use.

♥ I have a 9 year old Golden Labrador who I absolutely adore and would do anything for. He sleeps on the end of my bed every night when I'm at home and I love him more than anything in the world.

♥ I like shopping and clothes and shoes. Actually lets make that LOVE. Yes, I love shopping and clothes and shoes. Oh, and I love nail polish too - can never have too many, right?

♥ I drink way too much Red Bull, V, or other energy drink varieties.

♥ I play Basketball and have been playing since I was 8. I love it and wish I could play more often.

♥ My family, friends and boyfriend mean everything to me and I treasure each and every one of them.

♥ Last but not least.......I'm tired and I'm off to bed :)

Oh, how I long for luscious locks like these lovelies.

Today I got my very first professional manicure. It was great! I love the polish that I chose and it was actually very relaxing in a funny way to sit there and have someone else tend to my nails. 

They had SO many colours to choose from and initially I thought I was going to have a really hard time finding the perfect one but as I was scanning through the wall of polishes I came across this absolute gem - OPI Designer Series Shimmer. 

OK, so I know I don't have the most photogenic fingers (I don't think I'll ever be a hand model) but all that aside, the thing I like most about this polish is that without direct light on the nails, it looks just like a subtle silver polish BUT as soon as some sunlight or direct light shines on the nails they turn holographic! I personally think it looks amazing, I can't stop admiring my nails. The photo doesn't really do it justice, you have to see it in the flesh to really appreciate the glitteryness of it all.

I have a wedding next weekend and I am going back next Friday for another mani, which I can't wait for! Just have to choose a colour from the millions that are there that will match my dress. I bought this beautiful maxi dress from Forever New. Its a bit hard to explain but I'll try, its a floral design, kimono style on top with a waist tie under the bust and flowy sleeves. Its very neutral/nude in colours but it is SO lovely. Plus I was most excited that I was able to find some shoes that match PERFECTLY from Temt and an absolute steal at $45. I really didn't spend any of my own money because I had gift vouchers from Xmas left over which was great seeing as I am currently unemployed and quickly running out of mulla! 

Ok, time to get ready for beddie pies.
